garden landscaping case study

Case Study 2: South Norfolk

In 2018-2019, we carried out a large-scale landscaping project for a client with a substantial residential dwelling in south Norfolk. Again the project was the follow-on from substantial renovation and extension of the existing house.

The project involved moving existing yew hedges as well as planting new ones, and the creation of paths, terraces and some very elaborate steps to the building’s various entrances.

There was also significant earth-moving involved and an enormous amount of work on the soft-landscape. Formal Lawns were created as well as extensive planting borders.

A later addition to the project was the installation of a water feature in one of the walled gardens. This was also a project where we closely followed the plans and instructions of Timothy Carless.
